Leading a Multi-Institutional NIH Grant Proposal for AI/ML Health Research 

Overview

Securing NIH AIM-AHEAD funding required more than a strong idea—it required a complex, coordinated proposal across multiple institutions, a compelling narrative, and airtight documentation. I led the full grant development and submission process to bring this partnership to life. 

The Challenge 

Tribe Health Solutions needed to submit a competitive NIH AIM-AHEAD grant to fund AI/ML tool development for mining the All of Us research database. The proposal required coordinating a multi-institutional team and meeting exacting federal submission standards.
